When it comes to camping, packing less is more. Here’s how to bring your cleaning essentials along for the ride—no matter where you go—without taking up extra space.
What you’ll need:
ROYALE® Tiger Towel® paper towel, separated into Handy Half Sheets®
Baking sheet
Foam paint brush
1 tablespoon of each type of soap (per sheet of Tiger Towel®). For instance:
- Shampoo
- Body wash
- Dish soap
- Hand soapA hanger with clothes pins (or another means of hanging the soaped Tiger Towel® to dry)
1 mint tin for each type of soap
NOTE: We recommend using a re-sealable plastic baggie to store these in if you create more than 2 Handy Half Sheets® of each type of soap.
Labels for the tins
Instructions:
Lay the Handy Half Sheets® of Tiger Towel® on the baking sheet, one at a time.
Using the foam brush, ‘paint’ the soap into the Tiger Towel® until completely coated.
Hang the soap-coated sheet of Tiger Towel® to dry.
Repeat the process for your other soap products, creating enough sheets of each product to last your entire trip (based on number of uses required and number of people in your group).
While all sheets are drying, label your tins.
Once all sheets are fully dry, organize them by soap type and fold them into smaller rectangles to fit into the tins (or fold the sheets in half and store them in re-sealable plastic baggies, labeling each appropriately).
To use, add water and rub to lather.
These space-saving soap sheets work double-duty, combining soap and cloth into one, small cleaning device, so you don’t need to bring extra materials on your trip to keep things neat and tidy.
Less mess and lighter packs all while keeping things clean makes everyone a happy camper.
