When taking your wooden patio furniture out after a long winter’s nap, you may notice a few dings and dents. Remove them with minimal time and effort.
NOTE: Do not attempt this tip on varnished surfaces as it could ruin the piece’s finish.
What you’ll need:
ROYALE® Tiger Towel® paper towel
An iron (preheated to the highest setting)
Water
1 sheet of sandpaper (light grain)
Instructions:
Put a drop of water on the dent, just enough to cover the affected area.
Cover it with ROYALE® Tiger Towel® paper towel, folded in half. The Tiger Towel® will absorb the water – that’s ok.
With your hot iron, press down firmly and make circles with the iron on top of the Tiger Towel® paper towel, until the water has evaporated (it won’t take long).
Repeat the process until the dent rises up to be flush with the rest of the wood.
If you can still see a bit of an outline where the dent was, gently sandpaper the area until the surface is smooth again.
